Medical Care is one of the important tasks of the Social Security Scheme. Types of medical care provisions are;

  1. out patient care;
  2. X-raying, laboratory services and diagnosis;
  3. specialists’ care;
  4. free supply of pharmaceuticals;
  5. ante-natal, confinement and post-natal care;
  6. hospitalization;
  7. supply of prosthesis and orthopaedic appliances in case of employment injury;
  8. ambulatory care.
